Future Terra

Well, its only a tentative name for a still unnamed world in the Elkandu
universe. It is basically earth well into the future, after a cataclysm
changed the world forever.

First, there was a nuclear war, and if that wasn't bad enough, the Elkandu
(the immortal time-travelling wizard-type-people) decided to meddle, and
tried to fix it. (Actually they were trying to get their people out who
were trapped there, but anyway). What they did almost finished destroying
Terra. By accident, huge amounts of pure mana were loose on Terra, ripping
apart the geography. One group of Elkandu went there to try to repair some
of the damage.

The result: A very different world, one where magic is now commonplace,
and the people have been influenced by the 'benevolent' teachings of the
Elkandu.

At some point, someone (probably the Elkandu) decided that the world
should have a common language, and so the Terrans set about to devising
this.
