This is known as the Song of the Song, from Lezarian mythology, translated
into Future Terran.
In ages forgotten that should not be so
there flared a bright light in the Darkness of deep
and there swirled the mist-cloud of grey, yet it glowed
as shade in the void that would reap.
It spun and it swirled and there shone Three Lights
shaming the Darkness, exulting the shade
for never again would the world be so bright
as the day when the world was made.
Then the light sang and rose over the dark
for now was begun that most ancient of songs
and out from the Song came the universe stark
all glowing that World of Song.
De Kante a de Kante
Tim epokken blemmen ke het no he sen
The Song of the Song
Tim epokken blemmen ke het no he sen
During ages forgotten that should not have been
a light bright glowed at the Darkness deep
e a dere wirbelled de nubu'neble grise, ke glarded
and at there swirled the cloud-of-mist grey, that glowed
li skade a de vistelle ke sil skosten.
like shade at the void that would harvest.
It spun and it swirled and at there the Lights Three glowed
vergominge de Tembriti, legringe de skade
bringing-shame-to the Darkness, bringing-joy-to the shade
por de terre brille no sil sen
because the world bright would not be again
as the day that the world was made.
E de lume sanged e levited a de Tembriti
And the light sang and rose at the Darkness
por narre de kante antore hed beginnen
because now the song ancient had begun
e o'a de Kante kommed de terre starke
and out-from the Song came the world stark
de Terru'Kante glardinge kompletli.
the World-of-Song glowing completely.
