In Sohlob the combined effects of vowel-affection of the Germanic/Celtic
type and vowel harmony serve to transform the simple /a i u/ vowel system
of and agglutinating morphology of Kedjeb (Old/Proto-Sohlob) into an evil
beast with six vowel phonemes including central/back unrounded sounds and
lots of morphophonemic alteration.
