Well, not really, though you have two out of the six propositions right :)) .
And indeed, preposed |h| has a funky function. Actually, its function is rather
impossible to predict, contrary to postposed |h| which simply palatalises
previous consonants and adds a [I]-glide to a previous vowel. To give you
examples, |hn| is [z], |hg| is [M\] (velar approximant), |hl| is [L\] (velar
lateral approximant), |ht| is [C] and [hd] (like |hj|) is [G]!!!
