Thank you. Very interesting. It's pretty much the way I built Kash
vocabulary-- pick a topic, free-associate as many words as possible, then
assign Kash forms. Gaps are inevitable, but can be filled in when they're
discovered.
Even your father's list has omissions (ah-- this is only 1-10, I see, not
the complete list)-- e.g. nothing about the home (rooms, furniture, cooking,
utensils; leads also to architecture, construction, tools... leads to Good
Heavens!!); clothing (articles, materials-- leads to sources [plants,
animals]), etc. etc. almost ad infinitum.
IMO vocabulary is one of the most fun parts of conlanging.
