Hawaiian Problem

I'm hoping someone on hear speaks or has studied Hawaiian or knows
someplace on the web where I can get some info.
So, I have this book, and it has translation exercizes, and I'm doing
fine all the way up to number ten when, suddenly, there were two words in
this ONE sentence that could be found nowhere else in the book. Now, the
book has had a few type-o's already, so I'm a bit worried, but I see nothing
it could be close to in my vocabulary section. Anyway, here's the sentence:

He hele laua i ka auau kai.

It's the two last words I don't know. It means something like "They two
go to the..." and whatever those two words mean. Can anyone help?
