My take on it is that elephant testicles (mass about 2.5 kg each) look like blueberries (mass about 280 mg each, wild; about 900 mg each, cultivated; the wild are a different species and taste better) when compared with Tarzan's (average mass, male adult human, 42 g). Unfortunately, the blueberry is a New World fruit.

It would be interesting to know where the peanuts came from; I'd guess Africa, though the peanut's origin is in South America. It surely came to North America via the Caribbean, possibly with a trip through Africa (its colloquial name "goober" is of African origin). As for former President Carter, it is correct to associate him with peanut butter, as he was primarily a peanut processor rather than a farmer. -- John Cowan www.ccil.org/~cowan www.reutershealth.com jcowan@reutershealth.com Mr. Henry James writes fiction as if it were a painful duty. --Oscar Wilde
