It seemed to me there was one that had a turtle as its mascot. I've
forgotten the name, but you typed in a word (for me, most often in English)
and got a variety of translations for various languages. To be sure, I was
often disappointed, as it seems their database is reliant on viewer
participation. Nevertheless, it did often provide links to the word used in
sample literary contexts to let you see how it is really used as opposed to
those one-to-one translation (travel) dictionaries lurking out there (though
I remember a decent Swedish/English, English/Swedish one floating out
there). And some non-Euro langs included. Not perfect, but a decent
springboard. I have my bookmarks from Taiwan somewhere on disk, I'll try to
dredge it up if I can't find it through the circuituous meandering seraches
I found it through in the first place.
