And a pointer to such a study would have been a fine answer to my initial
question. Just for the record. I enjoy these discussions as much (OK,
more) than anyone, but a simple "go read this" will suffice if you don't
want to get too far afield*
(As opposed to "A Field Too Far", which sounds like another good title...)
