Notes:
Baresto is literally "oldest". Compare lanesto "first" from lan "young,
new". Both these words are formal. The usual terms were 'Besto' and 'Lesto',
bes- and les- in compounds (Omina is a heavily compounding language)
Omina has no passive. "(it shall) be destroyed" is rendered as "for the
getting of its destruction" (nuina-rde dagina-da-en)

... although the Auleri would not have seen death (the state, not the
process) as an enemy.
