Can I be slightly pedantic? Pretty please?

I have the real text (from Piae Cantiones, 1582) but couldn't find it
when Andrew asked for it.

"virgine", it's the ablative of "virgo, virginis".
> Tempus ad est gratiae hoc quod optabamus,
"adest" ("is present, is here")

"natura mirante" ("while nature adores")

> Ezecheelis porta clausa per transitor
"pertransitur" ("is being gone through")

"salus invenitur" ("salvation is found")
> Gaudete, etc.
> Ergo nostra contio psallat jam in lustro, > Benedicat domino sallus regi nostro.
again, "salus" ("salvation to our king")
> Gaudete, gaudete Christus est natus, > Ex Maria virginae, gaudete.
and again, "virgine". I think I've been highly pedantic :-) Irina Varsinen an laynynay, saraz no arlet rastinay. irina@rempt.xs4all.nl (myself) http://www.xs4all.nl/~bsarempt/irina/index.html (English) http://www.xs4all.nl/~bsarempt/irina/backpage.html (Nederlands)
