"Not terribly phonetic" isn't a bad thing--it tends to provide interest. :)
If you get a chance, I would love to see both the alphabet (and ligatures,
diacritics, etc) and a paragraph or so of text. I'm a graphophiliac (or would
that be scriptoholic?) and love to see new writing systems. The only problem
is that many people just give some sort of chart, and neglect to demonstrate
how it looks in bulk form, which is what really makes or breaks a writing
system for me. Hence the request to see it in a paragraph or so. The more,
the merrier. :)
Also, looking at your site, I see that you are down along the Minnesota/Iowa
border. I'm just a short ways north of Minneapolis; nice to see a "local" on
the list.
