Swahili's genders are based on categories, like 1/2 is "human". Also,
Swahili's genders control agreement in both verbs and adjectives. A

As far as I can tell about Lojban's genders, they are no more like
Swahili's than they are like any other gender system. But, as I'm by no
means an expert, I may be wrong.
