The main problem, IMHO, is that you need not be a painter to appreciate
paintings, a musician to appreciate music and so on. But it seems that
to be able to appreciate the art of a conlang, one must already have a
so strong interest in that field that s/he is nearly always a conlanger
him/herself. Of course there may be exceptions. But I know none of them.
