Hi,
I received some interesting answers.
On another list, someone suggested that the e-mail smileys can
work as punctuation (expressing the writer's emotions) :-).
I was also thinking of an word enfaziser, something like:
- I do like you. =3d> I #like you.
- I like *YOU*. =3d> I like #you.
Also, a "nested" punctuation, like:
- I, like you, who enjoy icecream,, have got quite fatty.
^^ closes both coments. Could
have been parenthesis too:
- I (like you (who enjoy icecream)) have got quite fatty.
There's more, I just can't think of any right now.
