If you havnt looked into _Describing Morphosyntax: A Guide for Field
Linguists_ by Thomas E. Payne yet, this is probably the best point at
which to do so. At base the book is a guide to writing grammatical
descriptions of lesser-known languages, and as such, gives many details,
examples, and definitions of grammatical phenomena that occur in natural
languages.
