It was not, since my girlfriend only knows French and English (with a
few memories of Spanish from her youth ;)). Moreover, I'm not talented
at all at designing alphabets (and at drawing in general). The most
devanagari-like letter of sabikeri is "s" according to me, which recalls
the retroflex [t`] (dotted |t| in transliteration). But I'm not sure
whether sabikeri |tl| recalls devanagari |th| ??? Anyway, it's fine
because I love devanagari :))).
