I just found an article in the Optimality Theory website called:
"Constraint interaction in Spanish /s/-aspiration: three Peninsular
varieties" by Richard E. Morris. If you go to:
http://ruccs.rutgers.edu/roa.html
...and do an abstract search under "Spanish", it should be there.
Unfortunately, it is only available as a Word7.0 document. Anyways,
there are lots of interesting phonological papers in the site. I'm
sure you'll find something useful.
