Two sources: p after _n_ or in geminates did not change, so pappyaku
became happyaku (eight hundred). All of the others are in loan words or
onomatopoeia, like "pika-pika suru" "to glitter". There are a few words
I've seen with _p_ non-geminate and not after _n_ written in hiragana, I
don't know if they're just very old loans or if it's a dialectal
influence.
