Heh... :-)
Also, beware of giving RPG characters names in your conlangs. I made the
mistake of naming a D&D character of mine the nice Rokbeigalmki name of
_Urgámn_ and ended up getting called "Orgazmo" for a few weeks. :-b
And then there was the Boffing LARP char named [uR 'bahaRav] (/R/ =
velar/uvular approximant), who i invented Tierean for his spellcasting,
but everyone just called me "Errrr". I could never tell if someone was
calling me or clearing their throat! :-)
Then there's the Star Wars character i named "Good Morning" in Arabic...
And i wonder why all my chars have nicknames :-P
-Stephen (Steg), a.k.a.:
Urgámn "Orgazmo" "Padre"
Ur' "Errrr" Bahar'av
Yohai "Kai" Ben-Shaddag
Mack "the Feng-Shui Troll"
Z'u-p'oa\/kq "Unkie Bo"*
Gonnmar "the Football"
Sobahh "S.O.B." "Sobe" Annoor
...and others
*note:
spelled: Z(acute)U(macron)P(apostrophe)OA(upsidedown-circumflex)KQ
pronounced: [Z<whistling>u:::p<ejective>owaa<pharyngealized>?q]
Unkie Bo is supposed to be an alien, after all.... :-)
that's my story and i'm sticking to it!
