But in spoken French, from what I've heard, the subject
vs object distinction is even marked with a case suffix!
Observe: /lOm/ "the man (ACC)", /lOmi/ "the man (NOM)",
as in /lOmi vwa lotROm/ "the man sees the other man". ;-)
