What's that have anything to do with it? The fact still remains that
languages spoken now are part of a continuum stretching back to the
first language or languages spoken God only knows how long ago.
And I didn't say that there was one original language, I said "...
possibly from Proto-World, if the theory of monogenesis is correct".
It's also possible that language originated in several locations. My
personal preference is for a single origin, but that's really only a
personal feeling, since there's no way to prove or disprove it.
