Forward as appropriate. What's the `little ditty' they're talking of?)
It's a poem I wrote in my language Silindion, and was too tired to name it anything
else....here it is again for your (and any one else's) perusal.
A Silinéstin,
már matári nëa nañári
tá yóva mér ká naréilim súldëa
méri enankérë ó hitívi téltu urísti.
Ninísi néinta fuóllo émë vïeryávilya nïossë nórïulerë.
Yánsë tilísi i silmaroscán ïulda i mulahyávilya,
támë runín i síruhya nóro tesséphëanna
níva mëundëa.
Silinéstin, kústë ó i nosméivi nólëa,
íd ëalë i nérma nivamári, téncë némpëu.
ríldïanto i ssórmalya táni në vívëa,
tóna yóva ropónto i Lornustëan
i nóirë ïena imári.
Oh Silinestin,
city of many hundred lights
which rises from the rushing waters
like an unfound mountain in the mists of a silent morning.
Growing upon me is the desire to run upon thy silver tree-lined paths!
If I could see the moon-sheen gleaming upon thy waterfalls,
then my heart would soar towards the beautiful glimmering of the whispering-of-the-silver-gray.
Silinestin, lost in the white waves,
indeed thou art the dwelling-place of beauty, praised in song.
Thy high and mighty towers are jewelled,
those that guard the Door-of-Winds,
the sacred place of the moon.
