My personal preference would just be to say that it means "went", and leave it at that. Otherwise it sounds too much like when people would "decline" English nouns as Nom: Mouse Acc: Mouse Gen: Of a mouse Dat: To a mouse Abl: Mouse Voc: O Mouse!

Well, Utakassí has absolutive agreement on the verb, as well as various clitics (1st and 2nd person are nominative/accusative; 3rd person animate is ergative/accusative/absolutive; 3rd person inanimate is ergative/absolutive). I tend to like personal inflections, probably because English has next-to-none. -- Dievas dave dantis; Dievas duos duonos God gave teeth; God will give bread - Lithuanian proverb ICQ: 18656696 AIM Screen-Name: NikTailor
