(When you said Georgia, I misinterpreted it at first. I thought that you
meant the country -- until I glanced at who the sender was.)
Living in Kentucky, the seasons line up fairly close to the solstices and
equinoxes, according to my own observations over the past few years. It's
not a perfect correspondence, but it's surprisingly close.
