Opposites are formed by reversing the word. Thus /klate/ might mean
"light" but /etalk/ means "dark".
Questions are formed by completely reversing the sentence. Thus "We
should go to the movie tomorrow" -> "Tomorrow movie the to go should
we?"
Gender is marked in first person but not in other pronouns or nouns.
SVO is used by people under the age of 25, SOV by people over the age of
25. Thus, when you reach 25, you have to change your syntax.
Adpositions can be both pre- and postposed. Also, adpositional phrases
can precede or follow the word they modify. Thus "teacher of son" could
mean "son's teacher" or "teacher's son".
Nouns have changeable gender, and not an issue of semantics, as in
having a single root for "boy" and "girl"
Stops distinguish by several degrees of aspiration (/t_hhh/ vs. /t_hh/
vs. /t_h/), but no unaspirated or voiced stops.
Vowels distinguish degree of rounding.
No open syllables.
