I am 59 years old, almost 60. My conlang, Vash, is over 40 years old. It
kind of "just growed" in the absence of any linguistic training, though it
did inspire an interest in linguistics later in life. After reading these
postings for a while I am inspired to more deliberately construct a
language - but what a lot of thought and effort it is. Probably like many of
you, I was amazed (and delighted) to discover not just that there is anyone
else in the word with this interest, but that there are so many of us.
