Odd as this might sound and though it's not the symbology I personally
would have chosen, as a programmer/analyst, representing the IPA
"unadorned" sound "G" by "G\" (G {escape}) and the IPA bottom-looped "V"
sound by "G" makes a disturbing kind of sense.
As I don't normally drink alcohol or halucinogens/psychotropics, I must
assume this comes from my spending far too many years in the same
career. :)
