CHAT: Galaxy Quest Hoax?

Hey all,
Jeffrey Henning's kind of out of touch right now, so I wanted
to ask, once and for all: Was there a show (TV show) called
Galaxy Quest in the early 80's? Jeffrey's got this site on it here:

But the picture clearly comes from the movie. Further, every
reference I've seen to the show on the internet is either supposed
to be a joke, or can't be verified. Can someone help me out?
It's *really* bothering me!
(Note: Sorry for the OT post. We can all look at Tev'Meckian
for fun, though.)
