Good to know you enjoy the list - and there are quite a few of us (I
include myself), I guess, who have posted messages in haste that we have
regretted afterwards :)

Those of us who were patient and read through to the end did notice the
'kernel'. I think most of us here would heartily agree with it. Over the
years we have seen some novel ways of thinking about language. The great
thing about this list IME is the tolerance & variety.
