I absolutely and completely forbid *anyone* from learning any of my
conlangs. It's a waste of time. Look at the grammatical features; play
with them a bit, if you like, but for god's sake, don't *memorize* any
thing. :)
Me, I love language, including conlangs (I still think Teonaht is the most
beautiful conlang on Earth, and I'd love to learn it) but I've got, got,
got to learn French. Maybe after my PhD I can indulge in wasting my time
by learning conlangs for pleasure.
(Although, as an aside, conlanging has vastly improved my language
learning ability -- features of French that might have thrown me five
years ago [like the pronouns en and y] now just seem neato.)
