Yes, and a total obstacle for us foreigners visiting
the Netherlands recently.... ummm, some prices in euro
and some in guilder. Well, at least the conversion
between the two is not so bad (2:1 roughly)!
OT: here in Denmark, the people "are proud of their
currency" (as I was told) so now I'm lugging around 5
different currencies (DKK, EUR, NLG, JPY, USD) - takes
me a few minutes just to pay for a drink at a
convenience store! :-/
