Re: YEAPT: f/T (was Re: Other Vulgar Latins?)

Hey!

Just for fun, I made a recording of each [afa] and [aTa] to find
resemblances. I recently found a software called Praat via a
suggestion at the ZBB. The program's user interface isn't exactly what
I'd call intuitive, but I managed to print a spectrograph of each
which I then overlayed: http://tinyurl.com/f4gk9. Is it just me or
does this one show really well that [f] and [T] are very, very similar
-- see the last of the three images and compare the red and yellow
dots.
