Ah, so I wasn't just seeing things in the thicks and thins of his strokes. It *is* left-to-right.

Am I right if I say that it's basically the Arabic script, just reversed in
left-to-right direction and with a different use of dots and diacritics? (and
with a dot used to separate words) Anyway, it still looks good ;)) .
