Sally? She's a nine days wonder and no mistake.
She's a bit of a wanderer, though. She'll blow
through town for a month or a season (usually at
the tail end of an entirely fascinating thread!),
and then disappear again for half a year...

There is no better criterion! Personally, I make
mine the way they are; because I consider myself
an external onlooker, trying to learn about the
language as it already exists. I haven't yet been
able to actively _create_ a language.

I am contantly boggled by the voluminous tides of
conlanging material so many people get up to
here. And by people who have a brand new, fully
fledged conlang every six seconds; or are
actively working on three score languages at
once. I can just about keep up with one! - and
then can never decide quhich of my two main ones
I want to work on now!
Padraic.
