Ah.  See, this is what I was hoping to hear.  When we did our unit on
tone, we focused on specific languages which (coincidentally, I'm sure)
conformed exactly to the OCP, etc., and everything else that was put
forward.  One thing that came up was that the framework we ended up
using to analyze African-style tone languages (we didn't touch Asian-
style tone languages) did not allow for the possibility of having any low
tones specified underlyingly.  I knew this must not be true for all
languages, but I was at a loss for examples.  I'd be interested in seeing
something on Digo.

Incidentally, I put up a page on my website on the pitch-accent system
of Njaama.  It works, but I don't really have a good way of evaluating its
naturalness or plausibility.  I'd love it if you (or anyone else) would take
a look:
