WAV file: http://beckerscarsten.de/temp/au_aeu.wav
AVI file 1 (front):
http://beckerscarsten.de/temp/au_aeu-1.avi
AVI file 2 (side):
http://beckerscarsten.de/temp/au_aeu-2.avi
The words recorded there are:
laufen /'laU.f@n/ - Läufer /'loI.f6/
Haus /haUs/ - Häuser /'hoI.z6/
euch /oIC/
Bauch /baUx/ - Bäuche /'boI.C@/
Just a small bio note regarding dialects: I was born in
Lörrach, Baden-Württemberg, Southern Germany, but grew up
round Korbach, Northern Hesse with my father coming from
that region, too, and my mother's family originally coming
from the Ruhr area. I have now been living in Braunschweig,
Lower Saxony for almost two years. There are no *major*
differences in my pronunciation from Standard German, as
Northern Hesse is quite close to the Hanover region, where
the dialect closest to Standard German is said to be spoken.
Forgive me that the quality of the videos is so bad, but
they were taken with my cellphone's camera, which is even
quite bad for recent standards. I hope they are still useful
enough for analyzing. Because the sound and the picture
aren't completely synchronous due to the small frame rate,
I've tried to speak a little slower on purpose.
Regards
Carsten
