Reminds me of a certain Catholic joke:
A Franciscan, a Dominican and a Jesuit were arguing over which religious
order was the best. Their debate continued for hours, with no one
coming to any kind of terms. The Dominican said, "Look, this whole
discussion is pointless. Let's ask the Lord for guidance in this
matter." The three prayed together.
Suddenly, a pure light filled the room they were in. A dove -- none
other but the Holy Spirit Himself -- carried a small note to the
Franciscan, which read:
My beloved brothers,
I am concerned about your bickering. The Apostles
themselves fell into this sin. The fact is, My Father
and I see you all as equal in person and equal in dignity.
I give you my blessings and peace.
Eternally yours,
Jesus Christ, SJ
