My psychiatric put-down: At one point back in the 80s, I felt I was more
depressed than usual. Just then, the local univ. radio announced that the
Med. School was seeking volunteers for a study of depression-- I called.
The rather brusque woman psych. asked the usual questions-- loss of
appetite? trouble sleeping? suicidal thoughts? unwarranted crying jags? to
all of which I truthfully answered, Well, no....... Her verdict: "I don't
think you're depressed enough for our study." Hmmph!!!! Anyhow, time heals
all wounds.
