Well...that depends on your concept of God. If God exists outside of
time as we know it, then you can pray for the past because the past, the
present, and the future are always before the eyes of the non-temporal
God. I don't think that this conflicts with free will, since humans are
living in the time line and experience things happening in sequence and
make their decisions, the outcome of which is already know to God... In
a sense, you are praying for the past at the same time that it is
happening for God, everything that has ever happened and will ever
happen is constantly happening fof Him/Her/<Insert Your Deity
Appropriate Pronoun Here>.
That said, that isn't the way I see The Divine. ;)
