That's my favorite ST:TNG episode ever! I don't remember what it's
called (maybe "The Inner Light"?), but they weren't really anywheres near
the planet, called Kataan. The probe had inside it the flute that the
person whose memories were beamed into Picard's brain used to play, and
he plays this really nice tune on it, which he plays a few other times in
different episodes (one where him and a woman who are going out play a
duet in those Jeffrey's-tubes things). I really want to find a recording
of that song...
