Modern Dutch, what's that? ;) Actually, most folks, when speaking Modern
(Standard) Dutch, _do_ inhibit slight regional influences:
<ij>, well I'd say it's between [&i)] and [Ei)].
<ui> is either [2y)] or [9y)].
<sch> is either [sx] or [sG] depending on dialect. [X] strikes me as
rather strange.
([9y)] and [sx] for me.)
That's the variation I've heard in Modern _Standard_ Dutch. As for
miscellaneous areal variation, it can get very, very nasty.
