Salwadres would be a suitable word to describe the woman who had just
saved you, yes. Prefder comes from a different origin. A female
prefder would certainly raise eyebrows in Cambria. Ill priwad and lla
briwad are complementary for husband and wife. Proffessiwnal is an
adjective and creating a female gendered substantive is perfectly
acceptable.
