the people whose language I'm documenting are indeed religious, but
they are fairly relaxed about it. I discovered them living almost in
the shadow of a very tangible monument, which also just happens to be
mentioned in their story of creation. this among other things makes it
quite hard for alternate religions to be taken seriously.
the aforementioned text is the one text I have so far, but that is
purely by accident. I was thinking about how a cyclic story of creation
might be constructed, and it just appeared, in some queer form of verse.
unfortunately, it appeared in English, so I'm not sure if it would be
appropriate to post here.
