I don't. However, I have a rule in my email client that filters all
Conlang traffic into a separate "Conlang Inbox" folder, which I go
through when I have the time; messages that I want to keep I move into
a "Conlang" folder, which is a sub-folder of my "Mailing lists" filing
tray.
That way, Conlang messages don't get mixed with the rest of my mail,
and new messages don't get mixed with saved messages, keeping the size
of the Conlang Inbox manageable.

Yeah, where you only have 10 MB of storage space, or whatever. Not a
problem in my case since I read my email off-line and store messages on
my local hard disk.

I thought everyone did that, to a greater or lesser extent? It takes
quite a bit of time to read every post, and you'd have to have quite a
large range of interests.
A similar strategy lends itself well to newsgroup reading.
Cheers,
