And it's also the custom for people on the list to welcome the newcomer. I'm so very glad that Mark has done that! And beat me to it! :) I couldn't do it publically yesterday, as I was at quota. So: Bienvenue, Maxime, or as they say in Teonaht, traltan, sed tso narlty. "Greetings, we welcome/accept you." Although we have been chatting with you for several weeks, an indication of acceptance. :)

I agree with Mark. I think Québec is as well-known as Montreal or Toronto or Amsterdam or...

I would be very curious to know, Maxime, what inspired you to start inventing a language if you discovered this list accidentally. I've found that quite a number of people come to conlanging independently of the list. And many of them before they've even heard of Tolkien. So what was your inspiration?
