I've been told that the usage was to present oneself to the others
My name is Maxime Lévesque,
I'm 16 years old and I live in Québec, Canada...
I prefer to say only Québec because I have a secessionist spirit and want
separation.. but that's not the goal of that post, so I say also Canada
because probably that without Canada a lot would not be able to know where
it is.
I speak Frensh, English that I learn at school since I'm 12, and a little of
spanish that I've learn during 3 years.
I've started my first conlang a few weeks ago and discovered that mailing
list when I was searching for grammatical information about something I
don't remember.
So I only have one conlang project in activity wich don't already have a
name. It uses affixes for every grammatical possibilities. Each words
concerning another are pasted to it: adjectives, articles case markers,
conjugaison, verb modificators(equivalent to the auxilaries like can, may,
need to, want to). It makes that big sentences can be in a few words. I like
it because the distinction root-affixes is clear because an affix always
beggin (or ends but it's rare) with an approximant ([j], [w], [H], [r\]) or
[h], so they are never confused. The plural is made with nasalization, the
genitive is like in mongolian, there's no verb "to be" or "to have"-> it's
all with suffixes.
But I have ideas concerning an other conlang with infixal grammatical
modifications making it more consize than the other.
So now you know me it will be better to talk.
