I don't see why not. Clearly, English makes the distinction on the verb (he dreams v. he is dreaming); I don't see why you couldn't do it on the noun. I'm not sure about your terminology, though. I mean "nominal" and "verbal cases", while in your examples, both cases are clearly marked on nouns. An interesting notion!
