Conlang's first word:
The first word "discovered" in the Druni language was the word, FERESH (book).
It is important foe two reasons.
1) The Druni have a real book fetish!
2) The word sounded vaguely semitic to me and it more or less determined the
sound of the rest of the language. The Druni language does not resemble
semitic languages at all, its seems to be more similar to indo-european
languages (I must confess to being one of the few apparently non-linguists on
the list).
Ta Druntanu ta fereshovon (fereshiun) chadizhe varemyaren vey vutit gadan
"feresh" ta muit Drunit gadan onyava u vodiginilyavu.
(The Druni love books very much and their word for "book" was the firts Druni
word that I discovered).
