Some would argue that there are no stupid questions, especially when
it comes to productivity enhancements. The answer to this question

Gmail by default has its own web interface at www.gmail.com (aka
mail.google.com), but it can be accessed (via standard POP3 and SMTP)
from your favorite email program (e.g. Outlook, Opera, or
Thunderbird).
